Today was removal day. After 12 hours solid yesterday of packing and sorting and unpacking then re-packing and more sorting, then a 6.30am start this morning for more sorting etc....(there was lots to sort) , we finally reduced our collective lives down to a satisfyingly small pile in the living room. For me this amounted to a guitar, a stack of records, my art box, my books of course and various Star Wars merchandise. For Jim it was various gadgets and assorted blu-rays and of course a ginormous telly. Neither of us are hoarders, in fact I absolutely relished the opportunity to de-clutter my life. I was ruthless and relentless as I filled bag after bag of old clothes, shoes, things and stuff! It's amazing how much stuff we collect and I know lots of people who have ten times the amount I had. We strangle ourselves with stuff. A good clear out and a clean slate is as good as a holiday, it helps clear out the head as well.

Speaking of holidays, (vacation for my American friends, howdy partners) did I mention I was moving to Gran Canaria? I did, OK. Where was I? Oh yes.....

So where do we go from here?

Only one more day in the flat, (apartment for my American buddies, just let me know when that starts to get annoying) then it is two days camping out at Archie's house. This is Archie...

From there it is off to Glasgow Airport to fly out at 2 pm. No turning back now!

Happy Days!
